Is it really public safety? It very well could
be, and noone would oppose something they felt was in their family's interest. So it is in our best interest to consider the many possibilities before reaching a conclusion.

DPWT, I was responsible for an $8M project to widen..... " One possibility, suggested by several individuals, is that it would be a great item to have on an engineering resume. So we get to live with the disasterous result, and the engineers get to put a bullet item on their resumes. |
